Q: Matt, I ran an ad on Facebook and all I heard back was “crickets.” I feel awful when this happens and don’t want to take another risk. Any advice to change this emotional reaction?
A: Never misinchirpret the sound of crickets chirping. Instead of tuning them out, tune into their hidden messages. Attune yourself to their wisdom and you’ll go from feeling awful to feeling awesome.

Q: Matt, Are there truly any accidents in this world?
A: Nothing accidental is for real in this untrue world, but in the real world some accidents are wrecks.

Q: Matt, what can I do to rid myself of the negative limiting beliefs I’ve been carrying around for so long?
A: When you stop caring about your limiting beliefs you’ll stop carrying them. Focus on your limiting mental pictures instead. Laugh at your limiting beliefs and believe it or not, they will become disbeliefs.

You may not believe that studying Zero Resistance Living will do anything for you, but after you’ve taken the course, don’t be surprised if you catch yourself saying, “Wow! I can’t believe how much better I feel and how much better my life is.”

Matt,
I was skeptical if Zero Resistance Living would work for me. Why would i need it since i have read Psycho-Cybernetics? Im still encountering difficulties and challenges. But when i bought Zero Resistance Living, it was fresh air.
Dr Maxwell encouraged us to see negative feelings as opportunities to rise above them. Im glad i bought ZRL. Im at Disc 2 now and the concepts and explanations helped me realise how i can achieve success. Like practice without tension and pressure, which you have mentioned regularly in your emails.
Thank you, Matt, for ZRL.
Sincerely,
Brandon

Matt,
I just finished reading Psycho-Cybernetics and I read where you talked about visualizing one goal. Thing is I have a lot of goals and I don’t feel complete just having one. Can I visualize more than one goal at a time?
John
John,
If you can picture more than one goal at a time you are talented beyond belief. I picture mine one-by-one.
To clarify, when I say to visualize one goal at a time, I am referring to a bigger goal that will take considerable energy for you to achieve. It’s easier on the mind if you focus on one and don’t jam the mechanism. But, I encourage you to have a list of goals, especially daily goals, that you can review each day. For these you can take quick snap shots of them every time you review them. Close your eyes and picture for a few seconds, then move on to the next one.

Hey Matt,
I just read the foreword by you in the book Psycho-Cybernetics. There you mentioned to relive the moment when you won something big in life and feel that feeling again, my question to you is what you should do if there is no moment in your life where you felt like a winner. Thank you in advance for your answer.
Divyansh
Divyansh, my friend,
Good question. So glad you asked even though this interpretation is a grand misinterpretation. You’re not alone on this one. A lot of people have the wrong idea that your winning moments need to be big.
The real question is “When do you start feeling like a winner?”
In your case, it is the moment you slap the inner whiner to activate your inner winner. It is the moment you real-eyes that any win will do. It’s not about big or small. It’s about “when” you will decide to see any win as a big win.
I suggest you look in the mirror and stare at your eyes. Smile at the inner “whiner” you see who is blocking you from seeing your inner winner. Then, with a light touch, playfully slap your face a few times to turn the lights on in your brain. If you’re still standing after these slaps, you just won your first big fight. Keep in mind that this inner whiner may request a rematch – and each time it does so I suggest you gladly oblige. I guarantee you’ll win this fight every time.
This exercise is no joke, and it may make you laugh! That ain’t a bad thing, is it? Laughing is winning.

Q: Matt, I heard that A.I. is going to replace humans real soon. Why don’t you use it?
A: A.I. is a regurgitator. It is not an originator. That’s why I prefer O.I. over A.I.
When I use Original Intelligence, I tap into the Cosmic Mind. Shortly after tapping in, I visit with U.I. (Universal Intelligence), who has ALL the answers.
You can use A.I. to dumb down your brain, or you can use your own mind and real-eyes that you are the real thing.

Q: Matt, is the road to mastery nothing but hard, hard work?
A: The road to mastery is a mystery to most. People are led to believe that hard, hard work is the answer, but most of the time the harder you work the further you fall behind.
Relax your face and inhale through your nose, and you will feel energy filling your entire body. Your breath and the results are easy and effortless.
Now clench your jaw and inhale, the energy barely makes it to your upper chest. This breath is difficult, filled with unnecessary tension.
Mastery makes hard work easy.
Mastery applies a soft touch to what looks hard.
Mastery hands hard work over to the mind.
Hard work is an idea that imprisons the mind. Soft work is an idea that breaks the bind.

Q: Matt, one of my favorite books by Dr. Maltz was Creating Living for Today. In the book he taught to never retire but instead to remain creatively alive. Can you expand on this?
A: Creative Living for Today is also one of my favorites. The way I look at this subject is as follows: You can “retire” from an occupation but you never retire from life. You focus on doing something else, on being creatively alive. When you are in the process of creating something new, you RENEW your energy, which gives you more life, more get up and go. To “retire” means to get tired again. To “renew” means to become new again. Which would you rather do? To me, being tired is one of life’s greatest miseries. Being renewed, however, is one of life’s greatest mysteries.

“The word cybernetics comes from a Greek term that means ‘a helmsman who steers his ship to port.’ Psycho-Cybernetics is a term I coined which means, ‘Steering your mind to a productive, useful goal …. so you can reach the greatest port in the world … peace of mind. With it, you’re somebody. Without it, you’re nothing.'”
