When you picture what you fear, what you don’t want, you unconsciously and automatically stifle your breath and tense your muscles.
Without even realizing it, you made yourself feel uncomfortable, jittery and nervous.
But the moment you realize that you are the one who is putting yourself into this uncomfortable state of mind by picturing the opposite of what you want, you can change your mental picture to something better.
As soon as you move your mental picture away from what you fear and place it upon what you desire, once again, you will automatically begin to breathe deeper and your body will relax.
Picturing what you fear puts the weight of the world on your shoulders. Picturing what you want removes it.
