For years I’ve written about the power of smiling, both internally and externally.
Yet, as valuable as smiling is for our mind and body, a good laugh goes far deeper.
Stand before the mirror, take a good look into your eyes, and no matter how bad you think you look, and no matter how negative your self-talk start laughing out loud.
It won’t take long before you notice the laughter becoming a real gas. You will have lightened your load.
After doing this exercise, look for and find reasons to laugh throughout the day.
It’s not difficult, especially when you see all the buffoonery taking place in the whirld.
For example, I’ve learned to laugh at my dentist, someone I used to take seriously.
I don’t see him very often because I tend to get confused with all the technological language he uses.
One time he told me he wanted to do a root canal on me. You should have seen the look on his face when I told him I didn’t want him going anywhere near my colon.
Give this “laughing gas meditation” a whirl today and you’ll soon realize it’s worth repeating.
