Q: Matt, what can I do if I have trouble visualizing myself on the big stage, or on the big screen?
A: You can start by seeing yourself on a small stage or screen. You can even begin by imagining that you’re looking at a school year book size picture of yourself. Over time, you can make this picture bigger and place it wherever you want. Conversely, you can even start seeing yourself where you’re currently sitting or standing. Can you close your eyes and sense your feet, your hands, your shoulders and kneecaps? How about the skin on your face? Start with the small stuff and you’ll gradually get the hang of it.
