Zero Resistance Action
Q: Matt, how do you get yourself to take action toward your goals instead of procrastinating on them?
A: People procrastinate for many reasons, but one of the biggest, if not the biggest reason, is the resistance they feel about the action that is required.
Here’s a simple example: If your house is a mess and you want it to be clean, you attempt to calculate an answer to the question, How long is this going to take? And upon coming up with an answer, you say to yourself, “I don’t have that much time right now.” So, instead of doing something, you do nothing, other than find time to watch movies, tee-vee, talk on the phone, scroll on social media, and so on.
You put off any and all action because of the resistance you feel and your desire to avoid that feeling.
Ultimately, you can fight through this resistance and force yourself to “just do it.”
But what if there was a way to feel no resistance to taking action? How much would you accomplish if there was no resistance to taking action whatsoever?
You can tell yourself that resistance is normal and you have to battle it every day. Or you can do what I have done and figure out ways to get things done without a battle, without fighting through the resistance.
When you go after a goal without any resistance to taking action, the success you will enjoy is “off the charts.” It’s mind boggling.
Yesterday, I had an incredibly small goal. So small you would laugh. So small that it would be accomplished within 60 seconds.
But what was the result of focusing on that goal? That’s the question.
The result was that I kept going – for another five hours, without any resistance, and I accomplished a much, much bigger objective.
What a great way to live.
You can fight resistance if you want. You can engage in a daily battle with it and think there is no other way to go through life.
The results of procrastination are ugly – but it is rooted in avoiding the resistance.
But when you remove resistance from the equation – there’s no reason to avoid action.

Here’s What You Will Learn in the Goal Getting Master Class:
• The biggest, baddest mistakes people make when “setting goals” that leave them feeling “all washed up” - and the easy way to fix these mistakes so you’re catapulted onto success.
• An ear-whispered secret I learned from a Tai Chi Master that sounded totally wrong but to my astonishment worked to perfection to help me achieve any goal.
• 7 Magic Words that came to me while walking that took “hard work” out of the success equation. Implement these words and you’ll be amazed at the difference they make.
• How to use sleep and “power naps” to get answers – a technique used by Einstein and Edison that you’ll want to begin using immediately.
• Why “thinking big” and “setting goals that scare you” may be the source of what paralyzes forward movement and causes procrastination – and how to turn it around in your favor.
How many goals should I have at one time?
• The incredible way Sylvester Stallone used negative self-talk to write books in record time and accomplish his goals. By the way, did you know that at one low point in his career, Stallone sold his dog, Butkus, for $50.00, just so he could eat? Later on, he bought the dog back for $1,500.00, and Butkus became a “star.”
• Discover how Matt Furey came up with “The Magic Power of Micro-tizing” and how you can apply it to Get Big Stuff Done!
• The hidden secret behind the “chain reaction” of atomic energy and how to use it to make anything frustrating and “hard” you're working on far, far easier.
• How you can easily accomplish hundreds of smaller, daily goals this year – and how these goals will give you so much momentum that you are naturally able to accomplish the big goals that have eluded you in the past. {Dr. Maxwell Maltz stressed this in Psycho-Cybernetics, but most people who have read the book completely overlook his advice, opting to chase the highest hanging fruit. Big Mistake.}
What to do before taking action?
• Discover the most important activity to engage in – and it’s not “hard, hard work.”
• How to unlock and unblock your energy, raise your vibration, and restore your confidence without even trying! Note: This has nothing to do with positive affirmations or rescripting “limiting beliefs.”
• How to Defeat the Failure Mechanism, that “I can’t” voice in your head without changing your self-talk.
• The only positive self-talk statement you need to get yourself on the path of success and how those who use it are batting 1.000, not .111, not .222 and not .333 – 1.000. {Hint: You have used this repeatedly whenever you succeeded, but because you don’t know what you did in this area, you’re not aware of how to use it in every area of your life.}
• The pitfalls and dangers of setting big, hairy, scary long-range goals that run counter to the natural and much simpler approach that leads to far more getting accomplished, not less. {One of my clients was blown away when he doubled his income with this simple approach.}
Are 5, 10 and 20-years goals a good idea?
• How to get unshakable momentum that catapults you to your goal and leads you to tackle the next one. {I recently accomplished a number of goals that I never thought I could achieve. By using this "simple steps" approach I achieved these seemingly unattainable goals in record time.}
• The fastest and easiest way to get started with visualization that works every time. {No, you do not need to see a goal as clearly as you’ve been told, nor do you need to think about it constantly.}
• The right way and the wrong way to visualize your goal and bring it into reality. {This is a hidden-in-plain sight approach that all airline pilots, great athletes, and creators use to go from point A to point B. If I were you, I’d be using it.}
• How to overcome self-doubt and your own resistance to success. {If you’ve ever felt that you’re your own worst enemy, this pen-and-paper technique will astound you.}
• Got limiting beliefs that you think are holding you back? Wouldn’t it be great if this wasn’t true? This means you could be one of those people who not only accomplishes the “impossible,” but also the one who says afterward, “I can’t believe I did it!”
How many goals do I focus on?
How often do you need to visualize your goal and for how long? And what is the best way to do so?
• Learn how to create and maintain that focused feeling every day of your life.
• Discover how to overcome frustration and beat the odds when it appears that you cannot accomplish your goal.
"Every day is a lifetime unto itself, but only if you have a daily goal in the present moment to work forward on; something that stirs your soul; something that takes you out of the time-space reality; something that makes you feel as though time no longer exists because you're having so much fun."
“It’s great to envision this New Year being grand... but the proof is in the 365. It's in the daily doing. The great life is not about one-year resolutions. It's in the Daily Do’s, repeated over and over.” – Matt Furey
